WS newly constructed National Library of Australia, Canberra . CUs lead light stained glass windows with voice-over of Leonard French giving background to them. WS French working in his studio seen from outside, CUs of chiselling and shaping glass with small hammer. MS French wearing industrial face guard. CUs French scoring and breaking thick glass pieces, VS laying glass out into panel. Liquid solution being poured over glass in panel. Several workers unmoulding finished panel. WS quiet main street of semi-rural Heathcoate. VS glass workers cutting glass segments from panel. VS French laying glass pieces with backing in pattern and VS workshop activity, cement being applied and rubber backing removed.
