Aboriginal man Djungurai prepares trench for cooking, collects fire wood. Young woman sheltering from sun nursing small baby. Camp fire blazing, man Djungurai puts dead kangaroo onto flames to seal skin and burn fur. Removes animal, uses stone cutter in spear thrower to cut and break hind feet, tail also removed. Lays animal and tail in embers of trench in ground. Covers with ashes. (Oct 1967)

Aboriginal woman resting, tame dingo with her. Pan land. HAS Three children approaching water hole in ground and fill wooden dish. They walk past rocky outcrop. Young girl picks tufts of grass over water to prevent spillage then carries dish on head. Two children walk back to camp. Man and woman drink from dish. (Oct 1967)

Aboriginal man Djungurai removes partially cooked kangaroo from cooking trench onto bed of branches. Uses stone in spear thrower to cut carcass into sections (very graphic). CU's face with flies. CU hands working covered in blood. Uses chopper stone to break heavier bones. He lays out sections of meat on branches to distribute amongst family. (Oct 1967)
