Line of old tractors pulling large gang ploughs, cultivating machinery, large team of horses pulling plough, giant combines fourteen feet wide cultivating the soil, distributing fertiliser and sowing seed. Wheat crop, harvesters and hoppers, three harvesters towards camera called Òauto headersÓ which are self propelled machines with crew of two - one to drive and one to bag crop on a platform.

Group of men around stationary machine bag wheat, open jute bags of wheat, man lets grain run through hands. Loading bags onto trucks, hopper truck in field, CU of weighing scales, truck of wheat arrives at weigh station, pan along wheat silos, hand sewing bags in the field, and taken away in horse drawn carts.

Men unloading bags of wheat from back of horse drawn cart & stacking them on huge pile of bags of wheat at railway siding, bags trolleyed onto goods train. Train leaves station. Steam train arrives at wharf, ships berthed on either side of wharf. Inspectors check quality of wheat to ensure ÒFair Average qualityÓ for export. Bags being transferred to ship's hold. Wheat being poured into ship's hold from large funnel at silo.
