Edited highlights of the two 1946 films, Walkabout and Tjurunga. All the photography and narration is by Mountford. Walkabout segment : Camel trek, various shots of Aboriginal men, women and children. Aboriginal community collecting and carrying water, hunting and cooking kangaroo, digging for honey ants, pan of Ayers Rock (Uluru), rock art, people climbing Ayers Rock, pan of the Olgas (Kata Tjuta), transporting goods on camels. Cultural clearance required.
