VS countryside around Mount Stromlo Observatory, near Canberra. Very good WS of telescopes against mountains in background and closer shots. VS inside observatory. VS preparation to photograph magellanic clouds and VS man sitting at control board. Good tracks up to Professor Richard Woolley at telescope explaining magellanic clouds and how the telescope works, CUs photographs of the clouds. Professor Woolley lining up instruments to look at the moon, CUs gagues and CU views of the moon's surface. N.B. commentary "man may eventually get there" and discussion on the folly of space travel.
